BAILEY
- age 9, L/W
Neutered. A sweet guy that has had children, cats, and
friendships with other dogs. A true ESS, he can beg at the
table, doesn't trust water, and can pull on a leash,
but car rides are grand. A new Landlord is
allowing the owner to keep Bailey until we can find him a new
home. (with owner on LI).
2.
MOLLY -
age
9, b/w, spayed.
Molly has been with her owners since she was 8 weeks old. She
loves her stuffed toys and often has one in her mouth, she walks
well on leash and can be off leash as she responds well to a
whistle to come. She is used to a fenced in yard. She can be
protective of her family, strangers should not approach her, but
if ignored for a few minutes she will approach them in a
friendly manner. Owners fear that as Molly is getting older she
may not be as tolerable of grandchildren who play too roughly
with her. Currently with owners in NJ.
3.
TESSA - age
7, b/w, spayed. Tessa is a sweet,
affectionate dog who loves car rides and walks well on leash.
She is possessive of her food and that has caused numerous
problems between her and another dog in her home. Tessa would
be very happy in an adult home as an only dog. Currently with
owner in PA.
4.
*TROUT &
FEATHERS - age
9, L/W Spayed Neutered.
Trout(f) and Feathers(m) are litter mates. They are lifelong
companions, and are not to be apart. They have been the center
of the universe (and they know it) of an older gentleman who has
had to give them up due to his health issues. Feathers is more
then happy to come and sit on your feet and lean against you
when called. Trout has a lot to say about life. They have
always been country kids, but have learned that other dogs are
allowed to share in the great outdoors... they meet and greet
and share walks with a number of different breeds. Cats, Guinea
Pigs, Rabbits, Birds are probably not good as house mates.
Currently in foster care, Capital District NY

Please excuse any delay in our response, as there
are many links in this organization (all over-worked
and unpaid), and we are usually overwhelmed with
activities ... housebreaking, trips to the vet,
phone calls, printing newsletters, etc.
